Wanted to type more but I've had a bit of a dog-related disaster this morning which means I'm running really late for work. So keeping it brief .... Congratulations on 8 days jsm, I'm so glad you're back..... I hope your hand recovers quickly Phoenix. ... it sounds like it might be the flu Vini. .. I had flu over Christmas and I ached all over... definitely see the doctor if you can and drink plenty of water and stay warm ..... congratulations Willow and Kris and everyone celebrating a milestone today .... I love the photo of the puppy on the step which brings me to my dog-related drama. My 11 year old son had to create a 3D model of a mythical creature for his art homework. He spent ages at the weekend gluing old Christmas crackers to egg boxes and decorating his creature with paint and feathers. Maybe it was too good.... maybe it looked too real because this morning the mythical creature was in pieces all over the kitchen floor and the guilty-looking labrador was sitting nearby with a feather sticking out of his mouth. The dog ate my son's homework. I'm not making this up. And of course the homework had to be handed in today so what followed was a mad dash family effort of gluing random bits of cardboard together and throwing paint and undigested feathers at it to try to make mythical creature #2. It's not as good as the first one but that's the good thing about mythical creatures .... no one really knows what they look like. ... although my dog now knows what they taste like. Got to run. 24 more for me please xxxx
24 hours please.
From now on, when I humbly request 24 hours, I am now no longer referring to alcohol, but I am also referring to keeping my mental wellbeing in check. I have had a very bad couple of days and want to merely consider this a blip. I do not wish to go back to how I was a mere couple of years ago.

Here for 24. I would say “24 more” but I haven’t been treating my body well in over a week. Just need to keep sugar out of my system for three days and I know I will feel bettter.
Wishing everyone a good day.
