whopper honey....you can get these pagers now for carers.....easy allert things....so your dad could just press a button and it would make a sound that would alert you....I found them on Amazon....just a thought. ♥

Okay I'm a bit nervous about tomorrow. The AA guy will come and meet me at my place in the afternoon. I would like to take things slow but I don't know if I should be seeing him at all right now. Maybe some time alone (as in not with a new girl) would be best for him? Am I making a mistake here?

Delilah - sounds like a scary, near miss. Glad nothing happened.
Whopper - your dad is lucky to have you. It’s stressful taking care of an elderly, ill parent. I hope you are finding some time to take care of yourself as well.
