Good evening everyone! Hope all had a great day. I made some real progress today and that is this.
I was actually wanting a Martini real bad....the restaurant up the street has a Happy Hour with $7 martinis and $7 bar food. I drove right there and could not find a parking place. Took that as sign, so instead drove to another place that has another HH. Found a parking space, but did not get out of the car. Thought for a minute about the sign from the other place, as well as how horrible I would feel if I came back here in the morning and said I gave in to the temptation. I knew the urge would pass so just went on home.
And guess what? By the time I got home, the urge was gone. Surfing the urge they call it. I guess that is what I did. Probably need to work on heading that off a little sooner, but I am a big believe in "signs" and the fact I drove around and around and around at the first place looking for a spot, was a definite sign.
Anyway, I'll try to catch up on the posts from today, but if I don't, I will catch you all tomorrow.
