Thanks for saying all these lovely things, it made me all teary! I am just starting to realise and to actually feel the truth in your words. That good things come to me, I don't need to chase them.
That feeling I mentioned I had at the yoga workshop, of being at the right place at the right time. I also had it when I met my friend afterwards and today I had it too. It's just a small detail but it makes a massive difference. I no longer feel like a piece of lost driftwood, I do have a sail and I can give my life a direction. But I don't need to figure out the complete route today, I just see where the wind is taking me and if I don't like it, or see somewhere else I want to go to, I make small adjustments to the course. Nothing fancy, nothing overwhelming.

I'm still healing, still learning, and I know I will feel overwhelmed again soon enough. But it is a start

Edit: I just said it on the weekender but I had a really nice weekend this week. And it was me who chose and planned all the things I did, me taking the initiative, not waiting for friends or a partner not come up with things to do and dragging me along. I created this weekend for myself and I enjoyed it very much. It might be a bit silly but I do feel very happy about this

12:29 am in NY and checking in for another 24. I had to fly back home because my mom is in the ICU with sepsis. She doesn't look good, doesn't recogniW anyone and is extremely agitated. I got here a bit go and they HS just given her haldol to calm her because morphine was not helping. No sure what is going to happen, so please keep her in your prayers and thoughts.
