A Different Path Part Three
If you ever need to Gilmer (or anyone), there are great apps out there for translating text-to-speech and speech-to-text. I'm using a lot of voice dictation nowadays.
This may sound ghoulish, but this is my favorite thread on SR -- the one I actually look forward to reading every time I open. There's nothing here but good souls.

Now, THAT'S funny, Trach!
V-man, thank you for the pictures and the candles. I would love to see that place.
Kathy, I picture you in your glory and third bib, still working on the "all you can eat" part. Enjoy!

Hi Gilmer, you going off to have fresh crab today brought this to mind. I think it will bring a smile to your face!

Vman - It was wonderful to see the beautiful pics. I always wanted to visit there after reading The Song of Bernadette (& seeing the movie).
Kathy - I'm delighted the computer thing worked out & you enjoyed your crabby adventure.

Those pictures are lovely, Vinny. I wish I could go to Lourdes.
I was not expecting it to be so accommodating to visitors. I guess I expected it to be more sauvage, more like what I saw in The Song of Bernadette!
Things have progressed way beyond the 1800s, though!
I’m glad it is so welcoming to so many from around the world.

More crab exploits tomorrow.
Turns out I have been having a magnificent and groundbreaking discussion all afternoon long with my middle son. Family background from all angles that puts a lot of things into perspective for him.
Plus lots of philosophizing about life.
A cigar well spent!
Have a good day/evening, everyone!
