Good morning all.
Yes Kenton it all starts today eek!
I ended up calling 111 for her last night she's loaded with cold and took paracetamol for a mild fever which made her kidneys ache and she was getting distressed about everything. The service was great and a lovely doctor called her back and talked everything through about pain relief and poorly kidneys. She's 16 now so they don't talk to the parents! Who knew?!
I read her RE revision notes out to her all evening. Quite interesting!
She seems much improved this morning phew!!!!!
Thank God I am sober for her.
I wake up today with a renewed gratitude for sobriety.
Oh and just for the record. I do not need a man to clear my garden, mow both lawns and take it all to the tip. I can do that all for myself. Hurrah!

08:20am Here In England and it's Day 6 SOBER

After going through the worst withdrawals I've ever had I've finally started to pick back up and I'm feeling so happy and positive right now! Just need to work on making sure it lasts and keep my guard up as its always when I pick back up and feel good again when I will want to pick up that poison that's tried to ruin my life.
Right now I couldn't think of anything worse!!!
Bring on my new sober life so another 24 hours for me here please!

Glad you're feeling so positive Kit.... you definitely don't want to drown out all that positivity with liquid mind torture which is how I like to refer to alcohol these days. Spell check just changed that to 'liquid mind tortoise' ..... what a curious creature that would be.
Glad your daughter is feeling better today Jo. The doctors and nurses on 111 are awesome.... we're so lucky to have the incredible NHS. There's so much for me to feel grateful for and like you, sobriety is top of the list. Good luck to your daughter and to all the other youngsters sitting exams and to all us not so youngsters dealing with life sober and free. Love you all xxxx
