SFL I shall join you doing something positive. Does getting my nails done again count? I suspect not but they are a lovely shade of grey/purple so makes a nice change. Sending you some supportive mum-love. I forget how hard they are when they're little but when you love the bones of them (like I know you do) it helps you find a way to make it work

Had quite a productive day so far. Gary (my car lol!) is in for his service, I collected my gym discount card and got my nails done. Just booked a night away with my partner whilst the girls go to Tenerife with their Dad at Easter. Scarborough hurrah! Fish and chips-a-plenty and hopefully some nice long walks by the sea.
Suze I think you were right (as always!) that life has gotten rather busy and I'm just struggling a little to stay in my zen-mode. With my eldest having her GCSEs soon we are very busy with extra lessons and they are both having tuition now. I have literally no free nights! But this is why I'm doing it. They deserve a good future so I need to keep that in the forefront of my mind.

Strength comes from the fellowship you find when you come into A.A. Just being with men and women who have found the way out gives you a feeling of security. You listen to the speakers, you talk with other members, and you absorb the atmosphere of confidence and hope that you find in the place. Am I receiving strength from the fellowship with other A.A. members?

First day at new job yesterday was great. It felt like a day at camp instead of work. We took a nature hike first thing, explored the beach and boathouse, spent some time on the archery and airgun range, had lunch, made a campfire and roasted smores, had my first fly fishing lesson, which was my weakest activity by far. 30mph winds didn't help.

I'm struggling with the fact that maybe I'm being selfish by accepting this new job. I was making twice as much at my surgical tech job. But the stress and anxiety were pretty overwhelming. My bf makes 3x what I'm making now, and is really supporting us entirely. Maybe I should be looking at nursing school instead of having this job. Idk.

Also feeling upset today because my hands are shaky. It's been long enough without alcohol this shouldn't be happening. I have had about 3 sips of coffee. Shaky hands lead to panic attacks.
