The thing is, I know it's all rubbish. My life was madness when I was drinking all the time. I also know it's about acceptance. I have still not properly accepted that I can't just go back to moderate, occassional drinking because I've never been able to do that in the last twenty years! It all feels so complicated but it's quite simple, just don't drink.

Red here with a rare Monday off 
. Feels like a blue super moon. I am so so so happy to have this day, sober and sane. Something is shifting in me—I have felt so sad and overwhelmed but something is different today. I feel more at peace and all right with what is. I see how blessed I am, and the more I think about that, the more good things and people appear. They were always there.
I think I would like to build a nice fire and stare at it. I’m just happy—don’t feel like something is wrong or missing. Love that!
