Page 27 on the last part, Marchers. Not bad but not our blabbermouthed best.
Work was pretty much exactly how I thought it'd be. Dead thru the early hours and then everybody came it at once at around 1 in the afternoon.
Gonna play some Splatoon. Or maybe take a nap. Or probably both. But not at the same time. What I ain't gonna do is drink.
Glad you're back with us, Applekat. Stick close, post as often as you can. Accountability is a good tool for all of us.

Well day one of 2018 was a success. Good food, good-ish exercise and most importantly no drinking. Can not wait for some sober and restful sleep.

Morning!! Well sober sleep didn’t disappoint.
Day off today and I am excited to try some new recipes!! Making a frittata for breakfast and for dinner I’m doing beef and broccoli using coconut aminos (has anyone used them before? I’m a little nervous about the amount and the potency....) I guess we shall see.
Well I’m off but I’ll be around today. Happy Tuesday....I think....

I'm with Sam--sober sleep was A+. It was so good I wish I could do it for like ten more hours. But unfortunately I have to work all day. Hopefully this won't be like last Tuesday where I did 14 hours with no break.
I will not take that first drink today no matter what. How about you?

So, Granddaughter # 1 left around 2 pm (with hungover parents, I might add). Granddaughter #2 showed up around 5pm. It was an awesome way to begin my New Year. Feeling all blessed and stuff.

Sam - your New Year sounds exciting. I am really happy and excited for you.
AK - glad to have you back. We need to chant some more names I think.
Casey - I haven't said it lately - but I am really grateful for you and for your pushes. I am 100% certain my life would be different if you hadn't joined our class when you did. I won't get sentimental again for a while - so you should just hold on to this one.

Purple - My trip is the end of this month. I'll pm you when I know when we are coming down that way. Going on a cruise the end of January, but I think we are driving down to Miami a few days before. I told my husband we needed to make a short detour. He's in.
MITA - hope you're enjoying the sun. It seems like you've adjusted to the cross-country move quite well.
Upstairs - time for me to start exercising again. Keep us updated on your progress, it's inspiring.

No idea if this is of any use Bobbie, but we are going to be in Charleston the weekend of Feb 9-12. It's my birthday and we still haven't done anything honeymooney. And.....seeing that our wedding was not exactly what we wanted, we are going to organise a celebrant/lovely spiritual person, whoever we find that we like to do another wedding ceremony on the gorgeous pier in front of the hotel. We are staying on the harbour....needless to say I am excited.
How fit exactly can I get in 5 weeks? Challenge on.
