Hey everyone! We survived the trip to LA. I hate going there, it is so friggin nasty.
Looks like we might be spending the day at home. I need to put all this Christmas stuff away. I知 really sick of seeing it.
I知 sitting here watching the news with hubby and I had no idea much of the country is in a deep freeze right now 😮 there is rain in our forecast later this week but it was 80 yesterday.

Still feeling crappy. In fact I think I’m feeling worse. Sad face. Have set myself up to take tomorrow off if I need it. Hoping some NyQuil leads to a full nights sleep.
On a more positive note - I’m having sweet potatoes for dinner. I’ve never had them before!! Yes, weird I know. Lol

And I love all things potato...sweet potato included. I cut them in half and put a dollop of butter on then and sprinkle cinamon sugar on them and then put them in the oven. Yummo

I love sweet potatoes. Eat them all the time. I like chopping them up into 3/4-inch squares and then sprinkling a little olive oil, a lot of cinammon, and a little rosemary and thyme on them and slow roasting them in an oven for an hour or so. Tastes great and makes the house smell wonderful!
