Morning guys. Happy weekend. Lots going on here! So much to deal with amongst the holiday season, Mark. I wish your family some peace in the coming year. Perhaps those birds or a bird of special breed is a sign of something right about to change. I’m always looking for those silver linings. 
Split probably two cords of green pignut Hickroy yesterday. What a bear! Even with a hydraulic splitter it beat me up. Will be worth it next year as we’ve all been enjoying these roaring fires every night. Fruits of my labor for sure! Very satisfying.

My stars what a decadent cake! So creative too. I'll take that slice on the plate please.....and pass the milk too.
My sweet mom surprised me with a couple flats of (Orange) pansies yesterday. So yet again I've got dirt under my fingernails and quite glad of it. The color reminds me of a blazing sunset. The only chore left is to feed these gathering birds their dinner.
