I went for my usual sunrise walk this morning. As the sun was rising the sky was filled with reds and pinks. There was a little bit of cloud cover and these colors were in the clouds. There’s also a layer of ice on the lake I live near and, it all reflected off the ice. It was absolutely beautiful! If I would’ve been drinking last night I would’ve missed out or, wouldn’t have appreciated what I was looking at. This is what I consider as one of the gifts of sobriety.
