24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 309
Happy to say it's now been fixed!
* just looked up the origin of 'packed in' - quite interesting:
Stop working or abandon an activity, as in 'Let's pack it in for the day'. This usage alludes to packing one's things before departing, and during World War I became military slang for being killed. It also is used as an imperative ordering someone to stop, as in Pack it in! I've heard enough out of you. ]

Feeling really good these last few days- I'm not sure what's going on but it feels like something is changing inside of me. I have been more patient and compassionate with the kids despite ongoing fighting and lashing out from their end.
My son and I went to the meditation class again on Sunday and he did great! Actually closed his eyes this time during the meditation. I am so proud of him. I am going to an adult class tomorrow (my second one.)
This morning will be a test- I have to get the boys ready and off to their schools all by myself like I do every Tuesday- this is usually the day I wig out and lose my cool. I am going to try my hardest to stay peaceful and compassionate and take a time out if I need it. I don't want any more regrets when it comes to parenting.
Happy Halloween to those celebrating! Love to all of you and congrats to those celebrating...

"One of the simplest ways to stay happy is letting go of the things that makes you sad."
6:10am in Alberta, today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
Another 24 please, and thanks...
Happy Halloween everyone! The "trick" to staying sober is to "treat" yourself to 24 hours of sobriety, each and everyday
