24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 298
Here for 24 more hours of freedom.
I keep wondering when I am actually going to feel better than this. I guess I made the mistake of thinking sobriety would help my moods. I've only gotten worse, like immensely worse.
My goal this week is to focus on turning this negativity around using law of attraction exercises. I also want to start meditating more. If none of that helps I will have to go on antidepressants again. I shouldn't be crying every damn day- especially at 5 am on my sons 6th birthday like this morning after waking up with puffy eyes from crying myself to sleep.
I know I will get through this. I just don't know how.

Oh love....so many hugs.
I think your plan sounds wise....and I am thinking of you honey. ♥
Good morning 24s I'm ALL in.
It's been a busy week with doctor appts. for my hubby and the support groups for his disease so while I didn't check in, I've been with you all in spirit.
Thanks for keeping me on the list Suze!
While grocery shopping yesterday I wandered through the wine aisle (on my way to the cheese but of course store marketers lump it all together) and admired a designer wine gift bag. My first thought was, 'how cute' and my second was, 'Bandi, you'll never ever buy wine for anyone ever again so what the heck are you doing admiring wine gift bags?' I didn't have any cravings but.....it's good to check in here and stay close. It was also a very empowering moment and helped me smile in the midst of a stressful week.
Congratulations to everyone celebrating a Milestone!!
Hugs, peace, strength and love to all....xxxx

Sending you love, dear one. You have so much on your plate.
Because I need to tell on myself here....
I spent a few days this week almost suicidal..... I looked terrible last Sunday.....really unwell. When I saw the first photos I had a complete breakdown....I was almost catatonic for a day there.
After that, I put the pictures and photographer in Nick's hands....and asked him to get her to do what we asked for, black and white mainly....if there are any pics that don't make me cry I will post them.

Black and white may be the solution!!!!!
another 24 more please,
Bandi ! I can relate to what you went through. It's such a final thing==not to be able to ever or want to drink or admire cute wine packages and etc. again.
Admire your strength.
Have a great day Everyone !

I am so very glad that you posted, Dane.
Whatever is going on, drinking is not the solution - not on way.
Whatever you AV is telling is a lie. Our AVs know us very well; after alla we created them; they know what lies to tell us.
Tell it to get lost.
Stay close, Dane. Please lean on us.

I LOVED it....so happy for them!
(They won the national football competition for the first time in 37 years. It was a huge deal. ).
Dearest V? As I mentioned, don't break rule 62 & I understand that women tend to take the photo stuff more seriously than guys, but it is what it is so whatever adjustments can be made by Nick then fine. However, if not then pls don't stress yourself out! Heard your preety anyway, so relax & take it easy

7:54 pm in New York and checking in for another 24. It was a chilly day here, and nice to have a little bit of fall. I'm in the process of trying to help my mom fill out paperwork for care, and realizing how difficult, and ridiculous the healthcare system is, especially for the elderly.
Hope everyone in SR land is having a great day. Congrats to all of our Milestoners!
