Oh wow! Red, we are on the same wavelength. I LOVE Halloween. I've started looking at decorations and yesterday asked my husband when I can start putting them up. Last year I started putting Xmas decorations up in the middle of November and my husband told me they had to come down. He said it's unlucky to put Xmas decorations up before 1 december?? I think he might have made that up. He's not 'bah humbug', he just knows that if I'm left unchecked we'll have Xmas trees, pumpkins and easter bunnies hopping around the house in June. I just get too excited about everything.

Anyway, my daughter is out of hospital and recovering at home and I'm looking forward to a lovely calm, sober weekend. Congratulations milestoners and good luck tigers and crows and all the other animals

So glad your daughter is home safe Kenton. I love Halloween and Christmas all the more this year as they are my grandson's firsts. Can't wait to see his wee face on Halloween and especially Christmas. 24 for me and a lovely peaceful weekend to all.

Ah, Lilymaz - this Halloween and Christmas will be so special for you and your baby grandson. I saw a pumpkin costume for babies the other day... too cute! I love this time of year..... but then when I think about it every time of year has been pretty awesome since I stopped drinking.
