I have been gone for 2 weeks now out of state going to a school for work. Just tested and DONE!
Flight leaves at 6:10am tomorrow, wheels UP and heading HOME to see my Wife and my DOGGIES!
Happy to say I didn't have a single desire to drink even though it was my first trip ALONE since I quit almost 9 months ago!

It's been a good day and my mood has been quite stable today! I never question it when I'm feeling good- just trying to appreciate the feeling.

Two years ago today I found SR.
Logged in, got my password, vowed to quit drinking and well, that commitment lasted for a few hours. I lost my password......... but never lost sight of SR. You were all here, somewhere deep inside, waiting for me to find you again.
On Jan. 1, 2016, with blurry eyes, shaky hands and a pounding head, I fumbled over the keyboard and found you once again. You were all waiting for me with open arms. Thank you SR!!
I'll have another 24 please! Hugs, peace, strength and love to all....xxxx

Ya think it'll be ok to check-in twice a day? I hiked 9 miles today and feel great! The AV is trying all kinda tricks, and what he's been saying today is, "Ah, you can have a drink or two, a cigarette..wont that be nice? And you can just throw it all away before you go to bed tonight, no harm, no foul!" I hate the beast and have to remember that's not me talking, its him!..........Day 15
