I know you lovebirds are camera shy, but there better be some wedding pictures posted here!

Hmmm......finding a photographer is proving to be more complicated than we thought. And WAY more expensive....OK....we will definitely post a pic here. Providing there are any.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for photographers in Columbus, please yell out.

Purchase wedding-themed disposable cameras and encourage your guests to take pictures with them.

I imagine that can work really well when you have a lot of guests....we are just having a few. But thank you so much love.

We were able to get the photographer we wanted (she is wonderful and spiritual)....just do not ask me how much she charges.

No problemo! Anyone with an iPhone can take a photo and Email it to you. That's what happened at my granddaughter's wedding on July 1 and it turned out real fine. Didn't cost a dime. You can choose just one to put on SR or choose several. After the wedding you need to get a cat. Willow! It is necessary to have a cat as your furry Higher Power! I am a slave to Boswell, my dog. We are not at all shy of having our pictures taken.

Fondly

Bill and Boswell

Well.....we have the venue, invitations, celebrant, caterer, photographer, my dress and shoes and most of the rest worked out. I even bought some oversized black umbrellas today for the guests if it rains....and us too I guess.

Overwhelmed and freaking out a little....apparently doing a good job according to Nick. I don't know, I hope so.

It has been a long time since I had to plan a wedding but "overwhelmed and freaking out a little" sounds about right to me

Oh thank you wonderful women!

Also, the hand-made engraved distressed sterling-silver rings are on route from the jeweller in Cyprus.

I never had to plan one. For I was only the "groom" (sounds like someone who would take care of a horse!) A bride needs more respect than to be compared to a horse ! Cat is better. Or her loved one to a goat! Suze and Nick are wonderful people and we hope that they have happiness forever! Every good wish!

Cyprus! Wow! I bought my wife a lovely gold bracelet back in 1972 on a visit to Crete. Only about 45 years ago!

So... I started this thread when Suze was completely overwhelmed with the monumental task of packing up her life and moving to America. I asked everyone to lend support and encouragement because she was truly alone with way too much on her shoulders.

You guys came through in spades. We are so grateful to everyone here for the advice and support.

The situation today feels similar. She is in a new country with little knowledge of what is where and how to get things done here. Can you imagine planning a wedding all alone with no female friends or family who are able to help? And to top it off the schedule is very short -- the day is coming up very quickly. And she is very sick at the same time. I can only provide limited assistance... I am unfamiliar with the local area as well and, frankly, I'm a guy. I am doing everything I know how, but she needs help from the women

I am asking again for all support and help for our lovely Suze. She really needs you right now.
