I'm still in pain from Bobbie's fish oil joke.
My long day at work turned into a medium length one as I've been off for a few hours. Unfortunately my normal day off Wednesday is now gonna be a long one of work. Oh well, I need the money.
Went to my dad's after work to do laundry. Finished another level of my Zelda DS game with my nephew looking over my shoulder. I think I only have 3 levels left.
Glad you're back with us, Applekat. Not sure if I have any sobriety/recovery book recommends right now. I recently read Mary Karr's Lit. While I liked it overall, I don't think I could recommend it as a inspirational type book to read in early recovery. While it's definitely about her alcoholism, it's just as much if not more about her first failed marriage and her struggles as a writer. I'm thinking about tackling Pete Hamill's A Drinking Life pretty soon. I know I read it once 15-20 years ago and liked it but don't remember much else. I found a copy again recently.
Gotta fold my laundry and do a little ironing. I'm sure I'll be back in here before bed but if not, thanks for being here and for keeping me sober one more day.

Just finished 'interview' with city staffie who runs volunteer stuff in the city. Apparently the congrats- you got the gig (art-g) role was just sent to me- no one else accidently. Got a few leads- will chase up.

You know your kids better than anyone. Just cause I took MY kids doesn't mean you should take yours by the way. Every kid, every meeting and every situation is different. Just do what's best for you & your family. Love you friend!
