Class of October 2014 Part 38
Nick and I went for a walk after dinner tonight....just so pretty here. And quiet, and peaceful.
Finishing up posting here and off to bed for me, well for us.
So much love dear Octsobers. ♥

Thanks for all the support, friends. Conquest, I'd forgotten that you have the colitis. That's got to be miserable.
I have not made the actual call yet to schedule surgery. I was digesting all the info, and thinking about exactly when to try to schedule it. No time is ever a good time to need surgery plus a 6 week recovery. I will have to bite the bullet and do that tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I took a little me time, and watched a TV series over the last several days. It was 13 Reasons Why, the Netflix series. I chose to watch it because it is actually controversial for its subject matter, and is about a teen suicide. I have a child with depression who has been suicidal in the past, and felt I needed to know what it is and how they present and deal with it, just in case she(or my son)watches it . While it is a deeply depressing topic, I thought much of the show was well done, dramatically, and cinematically. The parent's grief, especially the mother's, was very well depicted IMO. But, it is hard to recommend, because it could be very hard to watch, depending on how this subject touches your life and how reactive you may be to such a subject. Our school had sent home an email cautioning us about allowing our children to watch it. I had talked to my kids and neither has any interest. There have been 3 suicides in out town this year. Weird way to take some time for myself, huh? LOL. But, actually, I love good drama, or edgy movies and shows, and I liked the series. I thought the actors were all very good, and I liked many of the characters and loved hating a few of them too.
Suze, have you watched it? I know you love watching so many series.
