Good morning
I being selfish self centered I being complaining about my love problem and is nothing just ego and pride hurt, my friend told me yesterday that she have cancer the very bad one she lost her breast lot of quimo coming her way and she is fighting and staying sober wow that's willingness at it best.
24 hrs more for this alcoholic that is selfish.... And grateful today.

Thought for the Day
If we get up in a meeting and tell some thing about ourselves in order to help the other person, we feel a whole lot better. It's the old law of the more you give the more you get. Witnessing and confession are part of keeping sober. You never know when you may help somebody. Helping others is one of the best ways to stay sober your self. And the satisfaction you get out of helping a fellow human being is one of the finest experiences you can have. Am I helping others?
Meditation for the Day
Without God, no real victory is ever won. All the military victories of great conquerors have passed into history. The world might be better off without military conquerors. The real victories are won in the spiritual realm. "He that conquers himself is greater than he who conquers a city." The real victories are victories over sin and temptation, leading to a victorious and abundant life. Therefore, keep a brave and trusting heart. Face all your difficulties in the spirit of conquest. Remember that where God is, there is the true victory.
Prayer for the Day
I pray that the forces of evil in my life will flee before God's presence. I pray that with God I will win the real victory over myself.

Don't think I've mentioned yet that we are all going to Spain for a week on Friday 26th. I'm hoping to still have internet but if I go quiet at least you will know why. It's an all inclusive holiday so that means free food and drink 24/7. I have no worries that I will drink alcohol (but plan to have a close eye on my sobriety whilst I am there). This holiday is a big deal for us my girls have never been on an aeroplane before so the are both excited and so am I (although a bit nervous too I hope I've remembered everything!). Anyway just letting you all know as it will be a big test for me I can't deny that.
I hope everyone is well and my thoughts are with anyone struggling or ill or caring for loved ones ❤❤❤

Every day, I see the cake and think: "that's the most wonderful cake I have ever seen!" And each day, it's a different cake. How could that be? Because the most wonderful cake is the one that's right in front of you
So, what shall I cook today? I am not a baker; luckily, our lovely Kris is here.

My favorite day/time combination: Saturday Morning! It is very stormy, so I have a lovely indoor day ahead. Going to cook, find a Netflix, and perhaps get ambitious and do some trim painting. I feel good, actually alive again this morning after a great sleep last night.
