It's really hard to get photos of the cardinals, good ones anyway....Nick just managed to get one though. 
Oh, and the baby squirrels are playing in our yard, running around, across the fence and jumping in our tree. Just awesome.
And yes GHD, we are already spending too much on peanuts.

Wow Suze! You have accomplished so much in a very short time and all while moving to a new country! Pretty darn impressive!
You have created a beautiful garden, and lovely home with your Soulmate. Your photos of your home and garden are so pretty. I love all of the brick.... and apparently the birds, squirrels and rabbits love it too!
If that weren't enough, you are now enrolled in college to begin your studies in addiction counseling. I know you will be a great counselor from the caring way you respond to all here at SR...
Take a bit of time to fully appreciate your accomplishments, because I think you've done something not many could do...especially in such a short time frame.

Ahhhh Croutie.....you made me cry. Good tears. As Nick knows only too well, I am very hard on myself. There is so much I haven't done that I want and need to be doing right now. I have been so very disappointed with myself.

Yes, the cardinals are magnificent and so are the Scarlet Tanagers. And the finches. OK....all of them.
And it is hysterical watching the baby squirrels wrap themselves around the bird feeder while I tell them to get off and Nick laughs. It's pretty funny to watch ~ we have been trying to get a photo of that.
