Oh how I cannot wait for a little serenity....I live in a terrible place.
I have horrible, selfish neighbours of all varieties. And the weekends are the worst...parties until all hours with lots of drugs and alcohol. Most of this happens directly below me...and it has been getting worse and worse since I got back here. It goes on....it will be wonderful to get out of here. Wonderful to be with Nick in our gorgeous apartment where it is quiet, and where neighbours actually respect each other.
I will be able to sleep, finally.
I know this sounds very whiny, sorry about that. I know how blessed and lucky I am, and I am very grateful. Just exhausted.
It is just after 7 in the evening blue, and I guess you know how I am now.
Planning on an early night, fingers crossed.

I made it through the wedding after-party sober! It was a bit awkward though. The only ones not drinking were me and my 17 year old daughter. Toasts with shots, toasts with champagne... Aargh! My son-in-law's family are really nice people, but they do love to drink. Just relaxing today. In for 24.

Yes, I'm a bit of a wreck, but soon enough it will all be behind me.
It really doesn't compare to the hard stuff that other people here (((hugs))) I love are dealing with....and I know that. And I have so much love and support from Nick, and all of you.
Off to bed, earplugs at the ready.
Tomorrow is another day.
