This weekend has been a wonderful respite from that ongoing Battle of the Ice.
Friday night I got to see Jerry Seinfeld do his stand-up and it was glorious. Somehow I ended up right in front - got lucky!
Yesterday, there was a get-together at the state capitol. Organizers were hoping for 20,000 people but last I heard it was closer to100,000- it was a great energizer and motivator for many of us.
And to think, if it were a couple of years ago, I truly believe I would never have attended either and would have probably been at home, depressed and ruminating...
