Happy 1st day of Winter! Well, I guess Mother Nature had other plans for today because it wasn't 75. I didn't mind one bit either, enjoyed the cooler temps!
For our friends struggling, the advice I hear is stay in the middle of the Herd. Stay inside & close; on the fringe of the Herd and you might get picked off . Think about how this applies to our disease/addiction/alcoholism whatever name you call it.

I got my 2 Month chip and learned a few things about meditation at tonight's meeting. It's a little humiliating to start over from scratch in front of the group that once watched me pick up annual chips, but I need that humility. And only I'm making me feel humiliated. The group has been nothing but warm, welcoming, and supportive. Thank God for AA!

Surgery went well, the doctors and nurses have been wonderful. Since I didn't get into my room until about 8:00 will need to wait til morning for PT. I may get out tomorrow, but also may be here until Friday.
