24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 185
Hi,
I'm checking in for the next 24, thanks to my HP! AA! & SR! I also want to wish my sweet husband Happy 11th Sober/Recovery Birthday! He found recovery 7 years before me. Which is a nice way of saying he lived with my drunken butt for 7 long years ......never knowing what would happen...because I thought I didn't have a drinking problem.
Anyway, congratulations to our friends who are marking a Milestone in their own recovery today!

I'm still learning to practice an attitude of gratitude. That's not always easy for a resentful alcoholic like me, but gratitude is what keeps me sane, serene, and sober. Resentments lead to ungrateful misery and discontent, and eventually back to drinking and more misery. So today I'm committing not only to 24 more hours of sobriety, but to 24 more hours of grateful living too!!!
