Hi phoebe and so nice to see you checking in. I've every confidence you'll do great with any goal to which you set your mind this year. And I agree, this life journey is a process indeed.
Thanks all for your kind support. It is truly a comfort to me .
I remember on the 'soaps' my grandmother used to watch that children of the characters would often be quite young and then be off at boarding school or somewhere far away for a bit and then 'poof' they were 25 or so. Quite the appealing concept at the moment.

Oh geez! So sorry to just now catch up... Mark, You're doing the right thing now by protecting your daughter. And to rewind... You also did the right thing by allowing her the freedom to love whom she chose at first. And now you're supporting her by being her shield when danger strikes. Great work, dad! Huge hugs to everyone. I know it is an incredibly hard time for the whole household. Kudos to you and your wife for sticking together. I'll keep y'all lifted high in prayer for peace, strength, and wisdom.
Hey Phoebe! Way to get after those goals, girl!
Much love all around

Thanks for the much needed encouragement folks.
Finally getting colder and I hear the blustery wind about. A busy day lies ahead with a business lunch ( I'm rather spoilt for being able to come home for lunch.....much my preference) but for now it's gym time.
Wishing each of you the best day.

Husband started a new job this week, Tuesday. He has not been drinking in the evenings. This makes my sobriety so much easier. I am sure he will drink this weekend, but I will take what I can get. He has to be up early and I drop him for a 7:02am train. It is a good thing.
Me, well, I have been staying up too late. I find myself barely able to keep my eyes open at 7-8ish, but that is too early to go to bed, and the kids go up at 10. B then, I seem to have a second wind.
I do like the early to bed, early to rise lifestyle, but it is hard when you are momma to night owls. I like to be sure the kids are down for the night on school nights.
My baby becomes a teenager tomorrow! How did that happen? But he is very much a 13yo boy these days. If you've been one or had one, you know what I mean, lol.
Hello to all, and hope all are well.

Hi my darling octsobers.
Just wanted to say hi.
I've joined the January class, but I'll pop back here from time to time. I'm delighted to see so many of you still here and sticking together supporting each other. So disappointed I messed up again, but hey, feeling sorry for myself will stop me from my recovery.
This time surely!!!
My very best wishes to you all.
