Ok my bf made it for me as he actually enjoys cooking. I do all the research and act as a nutritionist lol and personal cheer leader to his dietary efforts... He chops and cooks! So zucchini, yellow squash, leek, onion, red peppers, cauliflower, broccoli. Sauteed onions and leeks, blend a bit. Dump em in a pot w veggie broth and veggies, cook for a bit and voila... Yellow dirt placebo soup.

Tastes bad so must be healthy...!

Kisses, Dee. Can I do one more?

It's nice that it's not that exciting
After all we've been through
When nothing hurts and no one's dying
Most my dreams have come true

Downtown they say 10,000 people were marching today. We just cling to our rage and fear and arrogance.

A good meal really lights up the pleasure receptors in the brain I have read. We just ate like kings. I even had a little ice cream and coffee... I have more test results tomorrow and I am a nervous wreck.

Hi all, I'm finally back here! Part 2! I too was fighting the urge yesterday to get blotto. Then I thought I would not let Trump wreck my almost 7 months of sobriety, no way.

My mom who is also sober (1.5 years) is a big Hillary supporter and I was worried she'd drink over this, turns out unnecessarily so. Her comment was that she was so grateful to be sober and not drinking at a time like this. Very wise words.

hey sleepie -- never doubted for a minute that you're fun to be around.

Hi kitty!

If you're unhappy w/the state of the Union, all the more reason to stay sober & make a stand for what you believe, no?

Trach I think, mentioned here an anti inflammatory cocktail... wonder what goes in it?

Dirt soup for breakfast. I am tired and don't want to exercise- but even if I am horribly lazy I do have work all month that is not sedentary and each night ends with a walk of 20 to 30 minutes. I have to suppose it's better than nothing.

hello folks, good morning, afternoon and evening!

sleepie I understand. Being in a so-so relationship can make it hard to go, hard to stay. It's nice that he makes meals for you. I thank you for the soup recipe, I think it sounds delish! I will try it out next week

hi kitty! hi courage, phoenix, gilmer, trach if you're around, Dee ( I am behaving ) and anyone and everyone who stops by.

SO tired today. Got my bloodwork redone for the second time in two days. My potassium level has dropped lower in two days. So potassium supplements it is for me and recheck my levels next week.
Refilled all my bazillion prescriptions. Happened upon a bouncy castle randomly so had a bit of chilly fun for the little one.
So it was a good day. We are both fighting chest coughs here so we're having an easy supper of soup.

Not much craziness today.
My friend who is a man is coming out on sunday- yay!
Also going to try out a whooole new (Christian) meeting tomorrow night- at a baptist church - but it has childcare so I hope I like it! Hopefully I can find a sponsor there.
My counselor told me it's not very bible-thumpy, which is good because I'm not going for religion I'm going for recovery and spirituality. But, I keep and open mind to everything and am willing to give it a go.

Onwards and onwards!

Never got my call today. Left two messages.... Paralyzed with anxiety went into shut down mode fell into a deep sleep nightmares have to go work now. Another day of horrible waiting tomorrow. I'm beat down by a life of no support, and what a doctor called " psychosocial stress". Yeah duh I've been treated poorly all my life. No hope in sight. Tired of going through everything alone. Everything.

I'm sorry sleepie we're here for you. I know you need more support in real life, but we're always here for you.

Love from Del

Me too, sleepie.

I need to go to bed. I'm stressed about a deadline. There's so much to be done! I'm not even going to allow myself to wonder if I would have drunk or will tomorrow. I didn't. I'm not.

Sleepie, I know that feeling of loneliness well. Alone, lost, isolated- bereft. All I can stress is that you are not alone. You have here- us. Hold on to that reality. Sharing these simple every day feelings and thoughts is so real. It is not virtual I am typing this with my own 2 fingers just listening now about riots in the
