Ah, no worries, Croissant, I think we are all becoming used to deciphering words now, what with tablets, smartphones.
I hope you're becoming happily settled in your new home. I would love to see more of your art!
There will be a short tv commercial for our play, but due to time constraints, I'm not in it, pity! Just hope we can get bums in seats for the play. The audience tends to be of the "blue rinse brigade" in our city, as I used to tease Larry. We need a younger audience, so the commercial idea is to help with this. The play might be viewed as somewhat controversial by the older, especially Catholic crowd here, and they may not attend. It's a shame to play to small numbers when so much work goes into a production by cast and crew.
Hope all are well.

What? Where?

You mention this in such an off-hand way!

Is it your finger?

I was scared to talk about it...and no, it's in my groin.
The good news is it's not a tumor or anything, the bad news was very serious meds prescribed that I don't want to take. I am not convinced they are safe for my liver. So lumpy and I are stuck with each other for the moment.

On the plus side, my blood pressure and other levels are ridiculously good. I am healthier than I have ever been in my life. Or I will be, when my liver finishes healing. s

I'm glad it's benign.

Glad it's not going to interfere with your plans!

Wishing you the best Suze - and I hope you'll at least talk to the Dr about your concerns with the meds.

For all I know you've researched this to death - but I'd hate to see you in a position where fear stopped you from taking something that might help.

I asked the pharmacist, and I really didn't like the answer. So yes, I could definitely do some more research. I keep thinking my doctor wouldn't have prescribed this for me if it could hurt me.

Thank you. ♥

EDIT: From what I read (the official pdf), I won't be taking this.
What I will do though is ask another doctor. A second opinion is a good idea I think.

Just to let you know ~ I am taking the meds. I have to: going away with a bad infection is a really dumb idea. Just have to pray my system can cope. I have been told what signs to watch for. Fingers crossed it will be OK.

Holy moly, how exciting! Well, that certainly gives you enough time to see if there are side effects.

So "jealous", I love the States.

Sorry about your medical issues, Suze, but I'm so excited for you, heading off on your trip! Please look after yourself.

In our play, port the drink is mentioned, and one of the girls brought in a bottle of port and shot glasses. Personally, I don't think it was appropriate and I'm sure it is against the liquor license of the theatre. Anyway, I declined and one of the girls said do you not take a drink? Happens she's Irish. I just said no, not any more and that was that, it was fine. Strange, but the smell brought me back to the first ever drink I had aged 10, when
I sneaked some Christmas sherry. No pull, no desire now, I was happy to drink water and keep in good voice for my part.

I'm driving to meet my bro and his wife tomorrow, as they're in my province visiting my bros first grandchild. Ny nephew and his wife may come too, not sure about the baby, she's almost 6 months. We're going to meet at a point halfway for us. My bro was kind and phoned to see how I was feeling about Tiki. I had a terrible dream about Tiki. He was fading away with a new owner. I called 4 retirement homes here and none can take a bird.
Anyway, seeing family will be a distraction, and my bro will hold court as usual, so as long as I expect this and accept it it will be fine. I'll bet he doesn't ask about the play! We're meeting for lunch, so he won't be drinking, I'm sure.
Got some cute baby clothes for my grand niece!
Hope all are well. I'll miss Wolfie, but he will be back with us, I'm sure.
