It's a good thing that you are thinking about your sobriety. I think we, as addicts, need to remember that pain management is part of the healing process and that prescribed meds are assisting that process. We need to be very astute and very honest with ourselves in recognizing when the pain is manageable without the meds.
With your hugely successful recovery record, I think that you will sail through this time unscathed.

All of a sudden my front windscreen has cleared and I can see a road ahead. I have been in a fog for around 10 years with the last 3 years wobbling around. Nearly 7 months of continuous sobriety has finally enabled a breakthrough and I'm so grateful to all of you here for helping me along the way
