I've been running a bit behind all day today, but will catch up later.

Husband at warhammer club tonight but I've decided to give it a miss and watch back to back holby city with the dog. Hopefully he'll come home via Mcdonald's and get me a nice large diet coke with extra ice- yum yum xx

A poke cake is where you poke holes into it and then fill it with wonderful goodness. Here is a picture of a poke cake being made.

Thanks for the poke cake photos. I still have my cake commitment for my Sunday Meeting at Las Encinas. But, my glass in the oven door is now cracked and is "open". My cakes come out not as high as it should. I'm going to try making a bundt cake tonight...maybe that will be ok?

My daughter is going to prom tomorrow - so happy to be sober for every minute of that memory-to-be. She will be stunning.

22:14 EDT and another 24 for me!
My daughter is graduating from college tomorrow! She really has been my biggest cheerleader in my sobriety journey, even though she is a Psych major and sometimes I felt like her guinea pig, I always knew she had nothing but love and support to give. I go to AA once a week and do not have a sponsor, but she is the closest thing I have.
I am so proud and grateful to have her.
