24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 130
went to a funeral for a much loved cousin, must have been more than a hundred people, she was a wonderfull person who died of cancer way too young, but I guess everyone dies too young, my mom was in her mid eighties and everyone thought she was too young, lost a half dozen friends the last few years, bike wrecks, cancer and heart attacks.
you are never going to replace someone you knew since high school, everyone else is just an a new friend, you didn't grow up with them. hope everyone is doing well, going to walk the dogs and miss my friend.

Congrats to all the milestoners today. Achievements such as these offer confirmation that: we are not hopeless; we do possess reserves of inner strength to draw on; there is a way for a liberated life from suffering; and we are worthy of love. Please note that I use the word confirmation because its important to realise these qualities have always been there. Staying sober has simply shone a light upon it. Keep going forward, one and all.
To be honest, I have allowed myself to be dominated by a negative mindset in past weeks. It has been due to external factors and allowing myself to have expectations driven by ego and envy. In recent years, I have not really suffered from this. But I have come to realise that its because I have dropped off a little in my spiritual practices. At an AA meeting on Sunday, a young man shared and his spiritual realisation resonated with me. That was when I noticed my faith had weakened. So I am going to bring greater resolve to this aspect and be mindful of the delusions
Another 24 hours of patience, wisdom and sobriety pls ! Its 8:19am here !
