Good morning, friends. I'm heading out of town for several days to hang out with my family. There IS internet connection so I will attempt to check in, but I don't want anyone to worry if I get distracted with all the people, events, fun, outings and such. What is happening the next several days is why I do this every.single.day. I was invited to be there, others are coming just bc I'm coming, looking forward to going, knowing I'll remember everything, investing in others as they invest in me, creating good memories . . . THE SOBER LIFE. Thank you all for helping me get to this point.
Life should be back to normal by Wednesday next week.

Hahahaha. . . I was just re-reading what I posted to make sure it made sense. I got to the part where it says "there IS internet connection" and it dawned on me how many of our family functions involve us being somewhere where cell phones are just paperweights. We do end up off the beaten path often. I love how adventurous our family is. My mother is in her mid 80's. When I picked her up at the airport the last time she jumped in the car and said "I wanna go zip lining." I love it!

Here requesting 24 more hours of gratitude and prayer. I am going in the hospital today for a 1 night stay. It's a pain management trial to see if a certain medication will help with chronic pain using a pump. Hope I can get logged in with my Kindle. Thanks for all the inspiring notes!!
