Ladybug, I hope your daughter settles soon! You must be tired, indeed.
I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that.
I'm meeting a man on Friday for coffee that I've communicated with on E-Harmony.
I've told a friend and will text her after to let her know I'm ok. She knows where we will be meeting. E-Harmony is a terrible site, imo, an awful waste of money, I've been "matched" 99% of the time with men in the USA! Not that I've anything against Americans, but really, distance is a factor to me. I've complained to the site and they say that I need to open up distance in order to get more matches. I've cancelled my subscription.
I'm just going into this meeting with an open mind and will regard it as an experience. I can't help but admit that I feel wistful about Mark, and miss him, but it will pass, I know, and I just hope he will be ok with all the turmoil he is going through.

Hope you enjoy your coffee date on Friday; coffee is great, casual way to meet someone and there are usually lots of people around so you can feel safe.

True to her word Croiss hasn't been back to SR since her last post.

As much as I disagree with her decision, she has a right to do what she wants.

I hope she changes her mind someday too, but for now I've decided I have to respect her decision to not be here.

The whole thing is sad...we all want Crois here.
