24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 95
Good morning, friends. Happy to be checking in.
Erfra - I hear ya. All i know is that every.single.time I let the AV win, everything else loses. AVs are selfish, destructive and will destroy you and those around you. Plus, the idea of going thru withdrawal AGAIN keeps me from picking up. I just can't do that again.
Also, regarding moderation. . . . I cannot moderate with potato chips. How on earth can I ever think I could moderate with alcohol ? LOL!
Personally, I found that eating to heal my brain was the ONLY thing that shut my AV down, and took all desire to eat or drink crap away. I crave veggies and healthy fats now. I don't know if it is okay for me to tell you which protocol I follow, but it has changed my life, how I think, gave me back my zest and sense of wellness. Food matters. So when that AV starts talking, pull in the diet boundaries, and eat to heal your brain. AVs tend to shut up when the brain has what it needs to do what it is supposed to do. Just my 2 cents.
