Lots of work trips and I've been to the Denver airport more times in a few weeks than anyone should who doesn't live there. Lots of work functions full of alcohol but I managed to avoid the peer pressure by drinking soda water with lime and nobody knew any different. Finally home again and ready for some quality sleep. Absolutely I'm in doesn't matter if we have 32 years 32 hours 32 minutes sober all we have is today to be the best person I can to treat others like I would like to be treated to love and forgive way back when the concept of 24 hours was difficult sometimes I had to do in an hour to time a minute of the time it wasn't until I work the steps that I discovered one day at a time I lived in the past filled with regret and resentments my past owned me when I wasn't in my past I was in the future filled with anxiety and anticipation I was never here I was never now and I've learned we are not cured of alcoholism what we have is a daily reprieve depending on my spiritual condition so count me in
