[QUOTE=BarbieKen;5202026] One of my favourite books too. I've had a copy knocking around since the early 80's though I much prefer the unabridged version released in -I think - 1990.
Signing in for another 24 hours at 4.35am in the UK.
It's the beginning of Day 14 and I'm happy with how little I've been wanting alcohol. On the flip side though I'm feeling generally fed up, am sleeping badly, feel guilty for not keeping up with posts on here - I've had so much support but came home after a couple of hours out last night and there was so much activity I felt too overwhelmed to try and catch up so didn't try. I now feel guilty for taking help but not giving it. Sorry :-(
Anyhow - another 24 hours and I will have done a full two weeks.
Thank you all x

Thank you all x I also have a copy of The Stand, and I love that book too.
And your bright sunny loveliness is a wonderful addition to SR love!
You help by just being here, and it is wonderful to watch your progress.

It was a good day of visiting music stores with my band's bass player to help him pick out a new bass guitar. He made a good selection, and tomorrow we will see how well it performs at band practice!
