That's the great attitude you have Dane that I work to maintain! Old sponsor used to tell me to be grateful for what I have, not for what I don't have. Had my serenity disturbed earlier coz of vile & disgusting pic text sent to me by 1 of the guys here. Of course was livid coz it portrayed my Savior in a way I'm not even gonna describe it on here coz wouldn't want anyone to tell me either...I've prayed bout it & calmed down(somewhat) after yelling @ them; now have to go & apologize as pg 86 tells me to-aghh this ought to be fun

Finally managed to attend my home group last night after a 7 week absence due to travel and holidays. Felt good to be in safe company again !

this past few days it's being crazy, nuts, fearful, weird, emotional wreck, but I did not drink or got high on crack, I tap to my higher power that I choose to call Jehovah, God.
to a wonderful friend, AA, SR, lots of meetings.
I don't want to give up this life.
any way next week I get my internet on my home, I start a new Job, is only my ex stay away....

More crazy weather today and for the weekend.. For me personally that means more hot weather. I grew up here in So Cal, I remember cool weather, even rain! There is nothing I can do but put the AC on....
I'll be checking in for the next 24 hours of my recovery, thanks to my HP & AA.

I can't sleep so I may as well have another 24 in Maryland today.

And congrats to all milestoners on this Friday 13th.

This may be a good day to stay home and enjoy my home while doing things that need to be done while preparing for my lead on the 12th step for AA meeting on Saturday 14th.

Living sober by making the right choices every day sure beats the alternative.
