also on 1 Month of sobriety each, Hip, Hip Hooray!!! and to Try18

Hi Messyarts? Was told in beginning days that there are plenty of excuses I could come up with to drink but no valid reason! Call someone immediately in the program &/or go to a mtg! Congrats to all celebrating six mths or less; helps me stay sober. Speaking of which, mtg this mrg was @ a beginners & 'twas excellent! Learned more than some other mtgs have been to(not that they are bad coz AA has a wrench for every nut)
Would love to have 24 more in MD @4:20pm...wishing all a good & sober wknd

I have some strange & exciting news on the house front.
Readers Digest version:
*The 1st house we put an offer on came back on the market.
*We resubmit our bid & they have given a verbal acceptance!
*We should have the signed paperwork back today!
All of this happened within a 30 min time period yesterday afternoon! I'll be cautiously optimistic until we get the signed contact & the inspection is done on Tuesday.
Other than that I had a crazy drinking dream where I tried to moderate and within hours I was hiding wine bottles again & trying to figure out how to lie to all of you about it! It was a doozy.
All of this to say, I'd love 24 more, please. Lots of BS AV reasons to pick up again ("You should celebrate" "See, even your dreams are telling you to drink.", etc). I'm here to say, "I did celebrate - with a vanilla malt!" and "My 'dream' was actually a nightmare." So
you stupid AV.

And thank you for sharing your dream....had a similar one myself last night.
I think our dreams are reminding us that we DON'T want to drink.
We know what the guilt and shame feels like...and we get to wake up and know that we don't have to make that choice. ♥
