Uh, 630 PM LATE for me signing in for another 24 hours of sanity and growth.

Day 5 coming to an end! I found another way to keep myself focused too. I had an Xmas card made this year with my six children on it and they gave a free calendar at bottom of picture on one . I put it on front of fridge and everyday I make a line crossing out the next day I conquer. If/when I have a weak moment, my picture calendar will remind of another reason why I want to be sober. To enjoy a great life with my family. One I remember and am present for.

I went to a new meeting at Noon today. I had heard about it,but just didn't get there till today. As I sat down I saw a box of sobriety chips, must have picked them up because the Secretary asked if I'd like to be the Chip Person. Ding....light comes on... I meditated on finding ways to be if service yesterday. OMYUniverse.....Absolutetly I'd love to. I got home and called an older gentlemen I'd always take home after our meetings. His apartment is 2 blocks North of the Monday Noon Meeting I attended today. Wee haven't seen each other since our mutual Home Group was ousted out if Pasadena. Now,I'll be getting him to & from this meeting on Mondays! Damn happy am I.Bobbi

to my evening buddies -- I haven't been able to post at this hour while on my vacation, but tonight I've got the computer free -- I've mostly been sick so far to tell the truth with awful back pain, but today was better and I'm optimistic about tomorrow. Who me? Optimistic? Yes, me!

Well not fun really so far because there have been only about three positions I can be in until today -- flat on my back, bolt upright for short periods of time, and kind of upside down. But I'm hoping for fun.

I also wanted to say Congratulations Dee!! IDK how many ODAAT have added up to this milestone in your recovery. But how great is that ?!!! Thank you for being of service here on SR.
