24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 23
I am so sorry to hear your very sad news.
Praying for your brother. (((hugs)))

Hugs to you Efra, I'm with the others on the teen behavior. It certainly doesn't make it easier though. I love the suggestion to call your Mom in times like this ....we're always somebody's "baby". I shared something on FB an hour or so ago, my mom responded with, " That's my kid!". Yes, I always will be.
Checking in for the next 24 hours f my recovery ,thanks to my HP & AA.

[QUOTE=BarbieKen;5008555] Well done guys im 16 months on friday
I made lovely dish of fried tender diced rump beef marinated in mustard powder and garlic with fried red onion & chorizo mixed up with basmati rice topped with mozzarella finished with the tops of spring onions (thinly sliced) and i made homemade chips i use maris piper i cut them to size (medium chunky) wash/rinse them 3 times so all starch is off dry them completly (this is vital) and fry once the oil is hot
100/10 my gf said

1963. That’s the answer to the question, “What do Dr. No, the U.S. release of I Want To Hold Your Hand, and TaB have in common?”
I’ll turn 52 years old in 2014. Not yet, but soon. I figured it out, and starting from Nov. 10, there are 52 days left in 2014. And so I start with 1963, and retrace. I figure, some years will have been good for me, some for you, and likewise some good for those around you and me both. I’m going to look for a bright spot in every year since I was born.
The release of TaB and Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan gave my pick for 1963 a run for the money, but in terms of a true impact on my own psyche, I award that year’s prize to Ursula Andress in Dr. No:
Wow. I hope to see you all again tomorrow!

Calling it an early night because I started feeling sickly :,(.....through all the emotions to learn to deal with sober...being sick is just the same. I will make it through sober feeling each and every emotion, fever, pain etc etc. I feel a calm in knowing I realize now drinking would make every thing worse when I used to think it made it better.
Other than that it has been a peaceful sober 24 on day 23 in the Midwest USA. Signing off at 9:30PM.
Still hoping tomorrow I will feel better! Sweet dreams all until we meet again tomorrow for another 24 sober, tranquil, peaceful hours of GROWTH!
love to you all!
I was born in 1962 also! In 1963, I was living in Miami, Florida. I really don't remember anything from 1963...
It's 9:37 PM here in the village of Olga, and I'm joining all the rest of you in committing to 24 hours sober.

My 6th and last child was born in 1963. Aging is not for sissies.
In my mindseye courage2 and venus are girls cause I was 32 the year they were born. Now I am really awake at 1 AM.
I am sober, so I'll have another 24 in Maryland today.
