Calico, welcome back on the bus. Stick around. Bring your knitting (?) for when the scenery is dull -- but it won't be dull often!

Congratulations on milestones to Minion, Cflexbxny, erfra, kisho, and Neferkamichael! Also to Jupiter who has 60 days today! And everyone else! Every moment of recovery is momentous, when we allow it to be. Why do we ever waste our time in worry and regret and get in our own way? Because we're human. But sometimes you just have to sit and be grateful to be allowed to be at all.

I don't know what's got into me. I guess I'm appreciating life & my sobriety a little extra tonight. Husband's home from the hospital, asleep in the next room, and I feel like we dodged a bullet. In that spirit, congratulations to everyone who made it another day, recovering from addiction which might very well have killed us instead. We're the lucky ones! Here's the list of all us lucky ones, since about 8 p.m. EST July 9:

Sugar Gliders aka Sugar Baby who knew such a creature existed? Probably Venus, Dee and our other friends in Australia! I was looking for a Step Study AA Meeting on the Internet and came across Sugar Gliders. They even have Rescue Web Sites. I just was amazed at these little guys.....

But, of course, I'm here to check in for another 24 hours of my recovery (thanks to my HP & AA).
