I am sorry, Fish. It sucks to be left out, especially when you are trying to do the right thing. I agree that it might be a blessing in disguise, but that doesn't help a whole lot now, right? Stick close. We really do care about you and our class would really miss you if you checked out.
I am with you on wishing I could meet friends like you all in real life. I am thinking about checking out AA for that reason, but also to have another hammer in my tool belt. I was planning to go last Wednesday but chickened out. Have you tried it?

I am a person with very strong faith in a higher power. God has different names and faces, but to me we are all praying to the same power. I BELIEVE in the power of prayer and meditation. I believe in miracles and in divine intervention, because I have experienced them first-hand.
I hope my sharing this doesn't make anyone uncomfortable and I do not wish to push my faith onto anyone else (I HATE when people do that) but I want you all to know that i pray for you every night!!
Fish- I stopped what I was doing after I read your post earlier and said a prayer for you. After reading your post about your son's phone call, I believe that my prayer was answered.

another problem that i have is I'm not sleeping i have slept maybe 10 hours all week and its makes me cranky and sad. megadeath must have wrote the song Insomnia when he was fighting the AV

Sooo I just found out that I get to be on the set of SNL this week!! Ahhhh such exciting news. Very strong chance that I'm gonna be in the audience on Saturday, y'all, which is a DREAM-COME-TRUE!!

Enjoy your crumble UI. I made an apple tarte Tatin for supper tonight. Yummy with lots of double cream. All those calories I used to save for wine are now being eaten instead. And then some!

Just signed in FISH stay strong we all need each other here
AA is a great place to make friends I live 4 miles outside my local town and work in the city . I didn't know anyone in the town now in the last 8 weeks ive made lots of friends

I'm going to be sober today, all day and all night, even if I can't sleep. Do join me.
It'll be worth it when sobriety is a normal thing for us. I'm counting on all these ups and downs evening themselves out eventually.
And forget about the stupidheads that aren't including you right now. You don't need them, they are added baggage. You're in the fight of your life right now.
