Spent the whole day with my daughter without her looking at me and wondering if I had been drinking. She said to me "mom it's been pretty fun hanging out with you all day". That's just one more reason to stay sober! Grateful for the day :-)

i got paid yesterday and i have actually put some of the money in the bank, bought my sister and I lunch, gave my best friend some gas money and NEVER BOUGHT ALCOHOL OR CIGARETTES. this never happens. SOBERIETY ROCKS

I planned for a getaway with my daughter.... just the two of us for the first time ever.
That would've never happened when i drank for SO many reasons....
... for starters I wouldn't have done it because I would not have known how I could be able to drink all I wanted if she were with me.....
and second, I would never have any money because I drank it away and never paid my bills....
Sheesh.
