I've got my mighty marchers but today is 81 for me so I thought I'd stake a spot here and say hi.
At the end of a busy work day I turn to thoughts of wine but instead I changed my clothes and made cocoa cause it's chilly.

Congratulations.....I'm on day 24....day 60 is my short term goal because my last effort to quit ended on day 59...that was about 6 months ago......I'm determined to get to 60 and keep going this time.....

Had been out last night with some non-alcoholic friends. It has been a little difficult for me. I had coke, but the others drank gin-tonic. But that was not the problem.
I was euphoric last night, dont know why. Perhaps it was because I have more than 70 days of sobriety, perhaps because my neurotransmitters are not yet working properly. I was tempted to drink alone some beers, when everybody went home, but I didn't. The euphoria is a kind of trigger for me. I used to be a lonely drinker of beer --plenty of beer, of course.
But now I'm sober and going to sleep. Tomorrow I will wake with no hangover. Thanks God.

I'd be careful not to put myself in those situations too often Mariano....I waited until I was sure I could face any situation before I went out socially again where alcohol would be involved.
It may be a little extreme for some here, but I still think it was a great investment for me and my future to wait a couple of months.
