What's good this morning is that the streets are not too bad and I can pick my mother to take her for coffee and to get her out of the house for a bit!

What's good today? This is a good place to start. Bantering with my college kid (who is very far away) on Facebook. The coffee is especially good today. No tense moments with my hormone-ridden preteen this morning. My 18-month-old German Shepherd isn't limping anymore is an upside, now he wants to play (that may be a downside

). The sun is up earlier and earlier everyday. That's definitely good!

My kids' paternal grandpa died last weekend, the funeral was today. The only good thing about it is for him: he's with his beloved wife again.

I am sad for my kids cause they will miss their grandpa but am happy that he is with his wife after missing her terribly for 14 years.

I miss you grandpa! Give grandma a hug for me cause I miss her too.:ghug3

Its Friday I have worked hard all week, my legs ache from running up really really steep hills yesterday, I have some money and I dont have to use it to get wasted, I am alive and healthy, happy and whole, I am Kevin, Kevin is me.

Went to the annual charity Eurchre Party. Didn't have a problem finding something to wear because I have lost weight. Didn't have a problem with everyone drinking there or telling people that I don't drink any longer. Had a wonderful time and actually won second place in the tournament. Wow.. beautiful day today.

What's really good today is that my mother made another appt with her doctor for a checkup and to see about getting on meds for her memory loss and acute anxiety. Not only that, she asked me to go with her!!!
