Hmmm . . .

Being sober.

Staying sober.

Enjoying sobriety.

Learning to love life again.

tallcactus 12-26-2009 07:43 PM

hmmmm,
I agree with horselover

jaitch 12-26-2009 07:48 PM

A drastic reduction in dependence today was good. More reduction tomorrow to continue the goodness.

Progress no perfection thats good

Wow Part 3. How cool is that? Lots of good things happening.

Oh I dont know....Lets see. I still feel calm and ready to move on to the next phase of my life. I am ok with the waiting now. So now I am just enjoying time with the family until its time to grind.

Horselover 12-27-2009 03:19 PM

Great to hear Trish. You are awesome!

What's good today is I am not sick. That is rarity in the world today I think. LOL! I am very grateful I have good health.

Spending the next full week with my son doing fun things together is good too. We are off to the Discovery museum tomorrow and so I will need lots of coffee for preparation. Its a madhouse there. LOL! Rollerskating and iceskating are possibilities, but we have to check finances on that one. Life is good and that's what's good today in my neck of the woods. :)

nogard 12-27-2009 07:17 PM

me too HL, feeling much better today ;)

Whew! Christmas is done and packed away.

Here is what is good for me, change. We approached pesky inlaws with a new attitude and was called the 'best Christmas ever" by my mother-in-law. Hmmmm - change in attitude.

Sounds good all.

This is my last day of nothing to do.
Tomorrow I go for my eval and start IOP Wed. FINALLY!!!! Its here.

55438 12-28-2009 09:27 AM

Aysha,

I remember when you first found out that you had to wait so long for your eval and IOP. You were so frustrated, you wanted to start right away. But - YEEEHAAAW You Made It!!!

What is an IOP?

Aysha 12-28-2009 09:30 AM

LOL!! IOP= Intensive out patient.
Now if I can just get into sober house..I will be on my way for real. But at least I dont have to wait just sitting here doing nothing.

Friends

It is quiet. All of the heads in their beds snoozing the night away. This is good.

Today I fionally go for my eval. I feel like things are moving now. Finally have some structure again.

Now

least 12-29-2009 02:04 PM

My neighbors gave me some money for all I do for their dogs. So I bought an inexpensive humidifier as my house is really dry. Maybe will help my dry itchy skin, I hope! And it has to be good for me (and the dogs) to be breathing moist air all night long.

Aysha 12-30-2009 05:55 AM

I start IOP today!
