Whiners Anonymous Pt.31
Teach, we have the ice here too - on top of the snow -and school is cancelled for the 2nd day. Most offices are open but are expecting people to be late. My new job is outside sales - I drive around all day in this junk - and the majority of my clients are schools and local governments. I wonder what i'm supposed to do today!?
The worst is over, Kevin, and the rest will get prettied up as soon as they can.
Even though we have an ongoing blizzard, even though most roads are closed and the rest are undrivable, even though it is supposed to keep up into tomorrow...I have no whine.
Why does Queeny not whine, you may ask?
Because this time next week I am heading to Florida for two weeks over Christmas and New Years and it's good to get the bad weather out of the way so it will be good for traveling next week. *Queeny does the happy dance smiley*
That is all. Carry on.

How about Saving King Bubba some more money Ann?
Queeny can't shop...I mean save King Bubba money...when the roads are this bad. Maybe tomorrow if the storm lets up. I have a couple of things in mind, like more bamboo sheets that happen to be on sale right now. And if you haven't tried bamboo sheets, don't knock them, softer than silk they are and fit for...a Queeny
I'm soooooo confused!!!
The thank you buttons aren't working.
Things aren't where they are supposed to be....
I went to the eye doctor today.
He wanted to re-do my eye pressure exam
and do a periferial vision test.
He looking at glaucauma right now.
Not worried yet; just looking.
He does not believe that the amitryptiline
caused the eye pressure.
He spoke with his colleagues;
they don't either.
Regardless of the research...
Oh well. I told him that I'm not taking it anymore
regardless of his thoughts anyway! LOL!
And that my PC doc and the gasteronologist both
agreed with me and my research as stated
in my letter to the three of them.
I have to go back in 6 more months.
For another eye pressure test.
And the periferial vision test.
His machine for the latter was broken today.
Seems that machine helps to determine glacoma too.
But, the pressure was down today.
Good news!
He said he doesn't know if it was down
Because I was off the meds since 30 November,
or because it was two hours later in the day
than the last time he took the test.
I also went to the gym today
before seeing him.
He said the research says that doesn't matter.
But, in reality,
it could.
(Sounds like, to me, he decides what research
he wants to believe,
based on whatever he wants to believe! LOL!)
Anyway, I'll go back in 6 months.
And I won't take the meds.
And my eye pressure *is* down! LOL!
And that's good news to me!
I go for another lipid test
3 months after the holidays are over.
Wish me luck!
Carry on!

We came to believe that we would be restored to whining...smiley stars and all.
It just takes work and the techies are on it.
My whine...hint...it's white and falls from the sky and blows havoc on the roads. *high pitch whine goes here*

Queeny spent over an hour digging her car out and cleaning the snow off...two days of blizzard leaves a lot of snow.
Didn't save King Bubba a dime, but met Santa downtown and donated my bamboo sheet money to a kids' fund for the firemen.
That felt better than my sheets....for now...don't worry, Queeny shall strike again maybe after the new year.
And it seems the happy stars are back
