Sitting here at my desk I have an overwhelming feeling of awe and gratitude for this thing called the 'internet'. I am connected with people all over the world with the same sort of problems and joys as myself. That thought just boggles my mind. If I were up during the night there would always be people 'on' cause of the different time zones. The fact that we can all connect is so incredible.
I am truly grateful for my friends all over the world. We can be close even tho we're far apart, and that is awesome indeed.

Hi everyone! 
Midterms are over. Thank God! 4 test in one week is a lil much! I'm home and cleaning house. Dealing with resentment.
For me it's all about expectations. I'm trying to breathe and let it go.
How is everyone?? I sure miss all of you!

Marlee... i found it so hard to go to my first meeting.... then i only stuck with that one for awhile, now i have been to nearly all of them in my area!! i meeting my sponser tuesday for the first time out of a meeting to start steps!!
tan.. you must be ready for a good break now midterm is over.. i still find it hard to fit with your school year, we end ours beginning of december... start the new school/uni/college year end of Jan.

It has taken me 20 years to realize that MY angst does them no good and MOST of the time, they come to their senses ON THEIR OWN. For years I FIXED everything for her...and that did nothing for her in terms of learning to live and cope and certainly made me a tightly wound twit

Everytime I get resentful I come back to this: (paraphrased) If something or someone is bothering me it is I who am disturbed! It doesn't matter what the other person does. I have to look at MY part. That just bites sometimes! ha!
