No tuna...I had egg salad! Peuuuw...but tasted scrumptious..
Didn't go shopping either...I started feeling "unwell"..and was pretty much down for the
count after I logged off yesterday.

Sorry kids, no bananas here. The ONLY thing that is native to this fair isle is conch, and even that, they harvest. There are palm trees, but believe it, or not, they are imported!!!!! Still, it's a wonderous place...lots of interesting peoples...as a result, I speak a little (emphasis on little), Nepalese, Sri Lankan and Phillipino. My closest friend here, is Cuban. Not too many American expats...lots of US tourists though.

I just got back from a meeting where I set up 4 big tables and put them away at the end, does that count?
I have to get them out of a rack and carry them into the room and then unfold the legs and put them up...they are heavy too, then I have to do the reverse at the end of the meeting.....I had to do it again tonight AFTER telling the WHOLE MEETING last week that I was totally exhausted all the time and think it is the M.E. that has come back. People are so thoughtful in AA aren't they? So unselfish and caring about others. It is all about WE isn't it?
That was a cynical rant at my meeting not at you Ken. I know you are being nice.
Anyway, it isn't that big a deal I just felt like a rant.

Hey Bee the chocolate cake is in the freezer - at the back where I can't reach without wrenching my back!
Daughter just finishing off the ice cream cake - so I'm safe in that regard!
I've got sugar-free chocolate pudding for emergencies - and this is one!
Just one day into increase of meds and I'm feeling better.
Back is still effed but it isn't as bad. YAY.

Lis, it is going to be a real big surprise. I believe he doesn't think I will do it. But I have done it and no turning back.
I love eating conch, especially conch salad, yummy. I have two beautiful conch shells, one a king conch shell, a native fisherman gave them to me.
Meeting tonight was Gratitude.
Sorry you had to lift the tables by yourself Stone, but being of service only helps the one doing service. You are doing this for your sobriety, not others sobriety. No one said there aren't selfish people in AA, they are everywhere. When I start to get annoyed I think of all the times I didn't do any service myself, always took for granted the meeting was always there, the coffee made, the chairs set up, books out, never even thought about someone was doing those things in order for me to attend the meeting. Its really different now, I try not to take any of those things for granted.

Congrats Bee, well done....your the best. another move in the right direction.
I just had to come in before bed and see how you got on.
I was at a meeting tonight. met a member who was in a hard place and we went together. there was a lot of sharing about children and the effects of our drinking on them. also co dependance. Its not my HG but its in the same town. It took me a while to get home cause a girl there asked me could she have a chat with me and boy had she a lot of stuff going on. still I am
the better for it..........
I was thinking of you stone at your HG tonight across the Irish sea. Complaining about keys and stuff....lol
