Whiners Anonymous Part 28
Only non whines today except that I have to deal with a lawyer today aboput the house and money and I always feel a little on the back foot talking to lawyers police... what a surprise
Least, I was tired after my early morning rise today and decided to slip backfor another hour sleep....woke up 4 hours later, lol.
Resting when we are tired is a luxury of recovery that I embrace.

Hi, Whiners! Haven't abandoned you...just keeping very busy helping out with arts and crafts projects, raising funds for Alzheimer's Assoc.
My son, who is still living in a transitional situation at Lyons VA called last night, wanting to know how to get on this board. A friend of his in program is working out in the boon docks and wants something to enhance his recovery until he can get back to regular meetings.
I sure hope he finds his way here...I know it was a Godsend to me when I was housebound...and, even now that I'm in the nursing home.
Take care, my friends.

Awwww sheeesh, Ann..thanks for noticing! :ghug3:
Been very very busy, allergies on the week end..the medicine knocked me out.
And adjusting to a new bipolar med has been proving more difficult than expected.

That pic reminds me of my mama!!! I had to look close to make sure it wasn't her!!! It looks like her kitchen too!!!
Sooooo... that will be my whine for today.
I miss my dear mama who's been gone away almost 18 years now. I wish I could give her a call and tell her my troubles. Sigh---she could always make me laugh and yet still offer some much needed TLC.
Awww..(sniff) Midge..
Thanks, that was sweet. We have the same faith...
Just talk to God..He'll send the message to your mama...
I do that with my Daddy. I could tell him anything too. Mother just doesn't understand
some things...you know?
Well, that was another whine!
TLC back.

Welcome home, Sher. Allergies are nothing to sneeze at!! (Sorry, couldn't resist and hope you feel better soon).
Weather has been superb for September, but autumn is in the air and the leaves are changing. My whine is that I'm not done with summer yet...really, I'm not. Can't the world just slow down a bit and wait for me to be ready?

Okay Midge..here's a more light-hearted whine of sorts!
An ode to the month, the promise here of release from the sweltering heat...and, it
is a darn beautiful song!
:
SEPTEMBER
Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh, so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow.
Try to remember, and if you remember,
Then follow.
Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow, follow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That no one wept except the willow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That dreams were kept beside your pillow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember, and if you remember,
Then follow.
Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow, follow.
Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow, follow.
Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow, follow.
Deep in December, it's nice to remember,
Although you know the snow will follow.
Deep in December, it's nice to remember,
Without a hurt the heart is hollow.
Deep in December, it's nice to remember,
The fire of September that made us mellow.
Deep in December, our hearts should remember
And follow.
(This one's for you, Rust...)
My whine? Older than dirt, I am. I was 4 when it came out...really, but I heard a
lot of "re-runs"..
